Amazing, is the word I repeated over and over while we hiked the Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Being from Tennessee we have our share of rocks and boulders, but not like these huge rocks seemingly shutting out of the ground.

On our first true visit to New Mexico I was taken back on the fact that all homes and businesses in Santa Fe are in adobe style and color. It is my understanding that it is a city possibly a county ordinance for each structure be in this style.
Who says the west is wild. What a nice stay in New Mexico, seeing the open land and great weather in June. Even our two Australian Shepard’s had a great time. The KOA Campground in Santa Fe proved to be the best chose.
